The Concrete Construction Training pilot includes the core curriculum that was designed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research, (NCCER). In addition to practical construction training, individuals will receive training in basics in safety, hand and power tools, construction math, materials handling, construction drawings, rigging and employability skills. These skills will prepare individuals for entry-level positions on project sites. Intense training will be delivered from Monday through Thursday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm daily and Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm for 24 weeks.
